Aaron Evans' determination and sharp problem-solving abilities make him an attractive opponent in court and at the negotiating table. These abilities, combined with an easygoing personality and a highly personalized approach to client service, make him an excellent advocate for his clients.
Aaron graduated from State University of New York at Oswego with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Philosophy in 1993. He went on to get his Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University in 1996. Aaron was admitted to the Colorado Bar Association the following year and began his practice with estate planning and uncontested probate procedures before joining Thomas Quentin Benson & Associates in 1997. He was a member of the initial team that founded Benson & Case, LLP in 1998 and has remained with the firm ever since. When Thomas Benson retired in 2014, Aaron took over as managing partner of Evans Case.
Aaron became interested in probate and elder law after observing one of his partners at Benson & Case. He was drawn to the idea of collaborating with everyone on both sides of an issue to solve issues and develop solutions. Each case is unique, and Aaron finds it tremendously fulfilling to assist his clients in dealing with loss and moving through difficult times with grace. Many former clients have become his pals.
As managing partner of Evans Case, he brings a personal and hands-on approach to his work. Aaron has long desired to lead a small, community-oriented organization and has fought to maintain an environment in which all employees and viewpoints are valued. The company has always been known for its accessibility, dedication, and compassion, and Aaron intends to maintain and improve on that well-earned reputation.
Aaron is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association's Trust & Estates and Elder Law sections. As a former Chair of the Statutory Revisions Committee, he worked hard to implement new laws and communicate with the Legislature to learn more about how laws are drafted. This mastery of the probate code has considerably benefited his legal business. He also led the Rules and Forms Committee and served on the State Probate Audit Task Group. He volunteers at the Denver Probate Court Pro Se Volunteer Desk and answers probate-related inquiries on KUSA's Law Line 9. He and his firm also support a number of local non-profit organizations, including Dolls for Daughters, Southeast Denver Baseball, and Race for the Cure.
